Geographic Information Systems (GIS)


The Navari Family Center for Digital Scholarship supports Geographic Information Systems (GIS), a system of hardware and software used for storage, retrieval, mapping, and analysis of geographic data. Navari Family Center staff are experienced and can assist patrons with the generation of images from spatial data and spatial data analysis.

The Navari Family Center for Digital Scholarship is equipped with high performance PCs to facilitate GIS scholarship. Some of these GIS tools are also accessible via the Navari Family Center’s classroom.  Tools available for GIS via the Center include:
