Postdoctoral Fellowships
The Center has hosted numerous postdoctoral associates in the past, from Notre Dame's 5+1 Postdoctoral Fellowship Program as well as from other external opportunities. To see whether a 5+1 Fellowship is available, check out the university's current opportunities page in the fall semester. The deadline for applications is usually close to the end of the calendar year.
Library Research Award—Digital Scholarship Award
The University of Notre Dame Library Research Award is an annual award given to undergraduate students who demonstrate excellence in library research skills by using a breadth of library resources for their course assignments, research projects, and creative endeavors. The NFCDS additionally recognizes students with a $250 award for excellence in leveraging digital scholarship resources, tools, and/or methodologies. View past winners.
(Past Opportunity) Pedagogy Fellowship
The Navari Family Center for Digital Scholarship Pedagogy Fellowship provided an opportunity for Notre Dame PhD students to build their teaching expertise, gain instructional experience, and engage in a community of practice. In addition to devising and delivering digital scholarship learning opportunities (including, but not limited to, geographic information systems, data analysis/visualization, natural language processing, and discipline-specific computational tools), fellows gained experience in evidence-based and innovative instructional methods, collaborative teamwork, and communicating their research and scholarly interests outside of their discipline. The program is currently on hiatus.
