Keats's Paradise Lost: a Digital Edition

Keats's Paradise Lost: a Digital Edition

Working with Notre Dame English professor Greg Kucich and external English professor Beth Lau, Daniel Johnson built a digital edition of Romantic poet John Keats's heavily annotated edition of Milton's Paradise Lost. The work incorporates page scans of the original document itself, a transcription of the poem, markup indicating where Keats had written on the page, transcription of Keats's textual notes, and scholarly annotations by Dr. Lau. The project was launched at the 2018 "Keats's Reading / Reading Keats" conference in London.

Students Anna Brown and Jack Rundle assisted in various aspects of the project.
